Shikakai Powder

Gentle Cleansing: Shikakai acts as a natural cleanser for the hair and scalp. It helps remove dirt, excess oil, and product buildup without stripping away the natural oils from the hair

Scalp Health: Shikakai has antimicrobial properties that help maintain a healthy scalp. It can soothe scalp irritation, reduce dandruff, and prevent fungal infections.

Conditioning: Shikakai contains saponins, natural foaming agents that create a mild lather. These saponins also have conditioning properties, making the hair soft, smooth, and manageable.

Adds Shine and Volume: Regular use of Shikakai powder can add shine, luster, and bounce to the hair, making it appear healthy and voluminous.

Hair Growth: Shikakai is believed to promote hair growth by strengthening the hair follicles and reducing hair fall.

Shikakai Hair Cleanser:
Take a desired amount of Shikakai powder in a bowl.
Add warm water to the powder to make a smooth paste. You can also add amla powder, Reetha (soapnuts) powder, or hibiscus powder for additional benefits.
Let the mixture sit for 10-15 minutes to allow the powder to soften.
Wet your hair thoroughly and apply the Shikakai paste to your scalp and hair.
Gently massage your scalp for a few minutes to promote circulation and cleanse the scalp.
Leave the paste on for 5-10 minutes.
Rinse your hair thoroughly with water.

Shikakai Hair Mask:
Mix Shikakai powder, Aloe Vera powder with a suitable liquid such as water, yogurt, aloe vera gel, or coconut milk to make a paste.
Apply the paste to your scalp and hair, ensuring even coverage.
Leave the mask on for 20-30 minutes.
Rinse your hair thoroughly with water and follow up with a mild shampoo if desired.

Shikakai Rinse:
Prepare a Shikakai rinse by soaking Shikakai powder in water overnight.
In the morning, strain the liquid and use it as a final rinse after shampooing and conditioning your hair.
Pour the Shikakai rinse over your hair, massage it into your scalp, and leave it on for a few minutes.
Rinse your hair with water.
